Hot Enough for Ya?

I'm a little over heated here in the big city. 100+ is not proper city girl weather.
Thanks to Due's Mom for checking on me this afternoon. Apparently the A/C is not enough for me. I'm not hungry and don't really see the need to leave the apartment - at all. Mom has positioned my own personal fan on the floor to cool me off directly.

I bet Sierra Rose and Ben are enjoying the California cool. Farley is probably chillin' out west as well. However I'm pretty sure Connor is in the same sweltering boat that I'm in down there in Baltimore.

Any one out there have any tips for keeping a golden girl in a full length fur coat cool in this heat?

Keep cool! We are pretty hot here in AZ - but the boys are enjoying the AC!

Well, I'm half-way to the Hamptonz - which is not at all like being IN the Hamptonz and it was over 100 here, too so it was probably at least 105 in the city today. I'm off my food, too. And they keep checking to see if I'm breathing while I'm napping. And I'm in the AC, too. There's just something oppressive about it anyway.

It's miserable down here!! If it's not raining it's hot sticky humidity or cook an egg on the sidewalk hot. We can't seem to win!!!!

We are enjoying the AC as much as you are Abbey!

Lots of slobber,
Droopy and Callie

Oh Sierra Rose - you guys are my heros. I'm sure Mom won't mind a doggie pool in the living room. It's so hot she might not even notice!

We stay in with the AC, too. Seems like even way up here near Canada there is the heat wave. Momma says 'wave' but we don't see not water☺

Rex recommends a nice swim in the lake--but he forgets that we live in the mountains of the NW (where it is in the 90's) and not in The City. Alternately, he recommends the bathtub with cool water and a ducky, and the "no shake" command...or, for the brave Momma, a kiddee pool in the living room (see previous command...your home looks lovely).

pant, pant.

Abbey - we are still praying for mercy on the weather. I hear it's supposed to be another hot weekend. My advice is to dream about making snow angels in Central Park. It will make you feel better!
