Life Lesson #2

It's Monday - and I promised Abbey I would continue with her Life Lesson posts. Here is Lesson #2:

Leaf Dive Whenever Possible
You know you did it as a child. Why not now?
There's no better way to celebrate the fall than diving in a big wet pile of leaves!
Go out - find your nearest pile of leaves - AND DIVE RIGHT IN!
It will make you smile!

ABBEY'S LIFE LESSONS

1. Everything is Better with BACON
2. Leaf Dive Whenever Possible

I was walking with my mum yesterday and made a point to scuff through the piles of leaves. I do that when I am driving, too!

That is a wonderful reminder and so, so true. After a rain on Sunday, we finally have fallen leaves, so we will go out and find some to dive in today! Thank you for the great lesson. And we love bacon too!

I totally agree with Abbey.
What would fall be without a big pile of crunchy leaves to roll around on? And then dig your way down to the wet smelly bottom.
I would like to add that running through a pile of leaves is also fun; especially those nice neat piles on the neighbours' lawns.

You know, that is something I've never done - we've never gotten those kinds of leaves here. I will put it high on my list though.

We wholeheartedly agree! On tonight's chilly walk we shoofed (feet) and snuffled snouts (well, one snout) in all available leaf piles. RileyRex says he also prefers to leave pee-mail in them, but, hey. He's a guy. In Abbey's honor we hereby resolve never to pass up a chance to leaf-dive. sending hugs, Rex's Momma

We don't get lots of leaves so we do the next best thing, we bite off leaves from the bushes and create our pile!

We are happy that you are sharing with us Abbey's life lessons. We look forward to more.

So far those life lessons are right on. Abbey had great wisdom. I will go leaf dive in the morning. I have to seize the leaves before they get stolen again, like last year.

lotsa licks, Lola

Not to many leaves out our way, but me and the fellas are up for a good roll in the mud. Hope that counts.

Here, here to leaf jumping! Is there anything more fun then that?
We love the picture of your dear girl in the leaves. Hopefully she is teaching Sierra the art of leaf diving- Sierra really needed help on proper form. =)

Still thinking of you as we know you are missing your Abbey,
