First of all - a big shout out to the NYC cabbie who picked us up today for our journey from Bideawee Clinic on E 38th to the AMC on E 62.
I don't take cabs often - and Mom even brought a blanket so I would not leave too much Abbey Fur behind. (Like someone might find too much of me a problem) The cabbie was very nice to both us of and we were very grateful.
Second of all - a big THANK YOU to everyone who left a message of encouragement on my blog. Hearing from so many friends helped our spirit. I know it means the world to me - and I know it helps Mom as well. Let's face it - she's a weeper.
At AMC this morning they did a needle aspiration to test the mass on my lung. We'll get the results tomorrow and will let everyone know what it all means. Of course in order to do this they shaved a circle on my left side. The same side with my scar from the cancer of '06 on my elbow. The same side as my bum ear. It just that means that now when you take photos of me - I do have a good side (the right side)! I think all the bumps and scars just add character!
Due is coming over to hang out for a bit tonight to keep me company. I think it's so the 2 legged ones can have wine and pizza and stare at me. I'll be fine. It's a journey. Not sure where this one is leading me - but it will be an adventure.
I promise to keep you up to date. (I think making Mom type for me and take photos will keep her preoccupied so she doesn't worry too much - at least that's my plan).

Hi Abbey
We wanted to stop by before now and tell you we are thinking of you, and invoking the power of the paw, but stupid computers wouldn't let us. So, we hope you will feel better soon, and we will keep our paws crossed for you.

My ♥ is breaking for you. That rotten disease has destroyed so many lives. I pray to God that I see a cure in my lifetime.
Ben told us about you and we wanted to stop by to let you know that you have a reputation as a brave fighter...we would like to add our gentle woofs of positive thinking and howls of healing energy to the others who are cheering and hoping for you.
Hi Abbey! You don't know me. I'm just a country bumpkin livin' in the SE who was visiting Ben's site. He said you needed someone to hold your paw. I'm so sorry you're not feelin' well. Licks and kisses and my Human Momma said she will remember you and your Mom in her prayers.

Hey you guys, we didn't know Abbey was hurtin, so we are shouting out to you with healing, happy vibes and keeping paws crossed. If the girl needs to eat, may we recommend tripe canned dog food. It is very stinky for the peeps, but sick fur kids seem to love it.
Get well soon Abbey,
KT and Lady
Thanks for the update, Abbey. Yes, best to keep the peeps' minds occupied at a time like this. My Momma says WINE & pizza is a good start. You look fine from all sides; if I weren't such an upstanding (& handsome, sensitive) dude I'd be tryin' to steal you away from Due (& Ben, shhh). Hope you rest comfy tonight.
Paws crossed for good news, RileyRex
Hi Abbey, we read about you at Scout and Freyja's blog. We know all about the evil "C" too and we have our paws crossed for you.

Hey Girlfriend -
You are lookin' good sportin' that trendy arm bracelet. And a cab ride? How cool is that? Never been in cab but I hear your golden locks are WAY more attractive than most things found in cab...BOL!!!
As for a "good side" can't imagine you havin' a bad side. I do think hoomans take advantage of these situations to enjoy extra libations - hope you get some pizza out of the deal.
Where ever this journey takes you and yours - know we are there takin' it with you.
Power to the Paw.
Love Mr. Pawsative aka Ben
