Can anyone explain to me WHY I must be tortured so?
First - Mom takes me to see the nice people at Bideawee (my vet's). They let me run around - I found my first C A T - they all want to pet my soft puppy coat - it's heaven!
Next thing I know - they knock me out - cold. I'm confused as to what really went on after that. All I know is my tummy hurts a little - I have a stitch or two - I'm been implanted with some weird sci-fi chip - and WORSE OF ALL - I have this silly thing ON MY HEAD - which means I can't scratch my itch! Oh the agony!!!!
Mom is trying to make me feel better. She gave me a "happy pill" this morning - IN PEANUT BUTTER - she's hanging out with me all day - AND she tells me that in 10 days....I get to go to a special park that is just for dogs!
So I'm starting the countdown....10 days......
From Ellie's Mom - What a drama queen! She's fine - and is recovering from her spaying procedure. The comfy cone - was Abbey's - she's getting use to it. The weird "sci-fi" chip is a micro chip. Something I always meant to do for Abbey but never got around to. We are BOTH looking forward to longer walks and lots of playtime at our neighborhood dog run - as well as CENTRAL PARK!

Oh Ellie,
I feel your pain (we've all been there) but the photo still made me laugh because it reminded me of my own puppy cone experience. A big plastic thing that had me walking in circles and banging into furniture.
Hang in there, you'll be cone-free before you know it. In the meantime, enjoy the extra treats and cuddles!
The days will fly by and Ellie will be ready for a run in the BIG dog's Park! I'm sure she isn't nearly as uncomfortable as she look:)
Oh Ellie - you look so unhappy with the cone. But in a few days, you'll be running around like nothing happened. We're sure your Mommy is taking good care of you.
Are you getting any snow today?

Ohhh, what a pathetic look! You gotta watch those humans--they can be sneaky & a little untrustworthy at that place called "The Vet". Hope you're unsore & un-itchy and playin' at the park in no time. woofs~Rex
Ellie,
Your Mom is just doing what any good Mom or Dad would do.
This will help you have a safe and wonderful life with many adventures ahead of you.

You're still a cutie pie even with the cone. no worries, in a few days you'll be off and running in the park.
First momma says I have to apawlogize for typos in my last posting. she says I can't use the iphone to post cause my paw is TOO big. Now back to Ms. Ellie - this too shall pass. Soon, very soon you will be a true city girl. Just wait until you check out the pee mail in the park. It's the best.

Oh Ellie... Avalon got her spay a couple of months ago and recovered very fast. We know you'll be fine very soon - we actually really like your cone - it looks very cushy! Oooh la la! And we're also glad to hear you got that chip - we all have chips too, just in case. You have a good Momma!
You will love the park!
Hugs xoxoxo
